Penelope Hart

Apprenticeship Alum

Joined 19 months ago from Between Rome and Tuscany, Italy. Last activity 7 days ago.

I'm Penelope Hart - born in North Wales many moons ago, on a farm, the eldest of seven children.  I've had careers in journalism in London, as a motion picture researcher at MGM, Hollywood and as a TEFL teacher in Rome.

I'm a published poet, magazine feature writer, culinary columnist and playwright. Two of my plays were staged in British theaters!  Graduating from Goldsmiths University 2006 with an MA in Scriptwriting (and two completed screenplays) has been a major achievement as an older student.

I run a B&B business from our farmhouse in Tuscany whilst writing a book and publishing articles on Hub Pages. Two wonderful sons and a granddaughter are my brightest highlights.

I enjoy writing for Hub Pages on several different topics some of which are:  scriptwriting, food, drinks, trees and tourist attractions in Tuscany, Italy, (fun things to do on the land, on the sea) Rome, European traditions, nutrition and articles to do with giving parties - various topics to do with my life's experience.
